Walkman TPS-L2 is commissioned by Luminoir as a visual tribute to the Sony Walkman. Our goal is to blend a retro-futuristic aesthetics with dynamic motion. Inspired by the Walkman’s cultural legacy, we explore a fusion of nostalgia and modern sleekness, evoking the joy of analog music in a digital era. The design language integrates smooth, fluid transitions with bold typography and vintage graphic elements, capturing the essence of timeless portability and personal sound. We aim to reimagine the Walkman not just as a device but as an experience—one that continues to inspire generations.
